Good Day to you all. I am a new member and have watched this site on a number of occasions and was impressed with the amount of useful information about Medieval times. I am a South Australian based writer (as yet unpublished) that is writing 2 fantasy novels and have found this site to be a valuable resource for some of the questions about that time. I hope to be published at some time and if I am lucky enough to succeed will be sure to mention this site.

I am a full time teacher and have two grown up sons who introduced me to RPG games, which I have been playing ever since. I am a new grandmother of 3 grandies and thought I would join up and see what other wonders this site may hold.

regards, Shadow :greeting:

Welcome, Shadow!

You're writing two books at once? That's really impressive. Are they both part of a series, or are they separate?

I also noticed from your interests that you liked The Witcher and Dragon Age. If you played them, what did you think of the sequels to both of those? I liked Dragon Age II, although I felt like the companion stories were not quite as strong as in the original (which was one of my favorite parts). I'm not too sure what to think about The Witcher II yet (I picked it up recently and haven't gotten too far).

Hi there. As a matter of curiosity, what do you teach?

Hi Ricker, Yes I am but they are unrelated. One is an adult fiction the other is a young adult novel with an environmental message underpinning its plot. I thought I may be able to reach our future generations this way.

Hi Sam, I teach all subjects because I teach primary students from 5-10 years of age. Love history and art as well, those two areas are probably my favourites.

regards, Shadow.
