Adam de la Halle ( c.1245-c.1288)
Adam de la Halle (or Le Bossu) was a French lyric, poet, musician and dramatist. He was born in Arras and died in Southern Italy. His Le Jeu de la Feuillée (c. 1277) is one of the earliest known French comedies, and has the character of a satirical review. Le Jeu de Robin et de Marion (written in Italy after 1282) is a pastoral comedy with songs and dances.
