Agnolo (1462-1543)

Baccio d'  Agnolo  was born, lived and died  in Florence. He was reknowned for his wood carving and architecture.particularly the  wood carvings within the choir-stalls and organ case at S. Maria Novella in Florence. His chief building include the Bartolini and Borgherini palaces in Florence; the Bartolini and Borgherini villas ouside Florence; and the campanili (bell towers) of S. Miniato in Florence.

In 1506 he took charge of the building of the Florence Cathedral.
