Alboin (d.573) King of the Lonbards
King of the Lombards (c.565-572). Son and successsor of King Audoin. Married Rosamund. Invaded Italy, established the kingdom of Lombardy (569-572), and was aided by the Byzantine General, Belisauris in his conquest. Said murdered on behest of his wife.
