Alexander Nevsky
Alexander Nevsky (1220-1263) Grand Prince of Vladimir in medieval Russia. Defeated in turn the Swedes, Teurtonic Knights and the Lithuanians. As Grand Prince of the Khan of the Golden Horde he spent much of his later career defending Russian territory from Tartar incursions.
