Wykeham
William of Wykeham 1324-1404 Bishop of Winchester (1367-1404) and Lord Chancellor (1368-1371, 1389-1391) under Edward III and Richard II.
Wykeham came into conflict with John of Gaunt and lost his office and See in 1373, but was later pardoned by Richard II.
He founded New College, Oxford.
