Found a rather interesting website for those interested in "historical novels":

"The Historical Novels Review" - part of the Historical Novels Society website.

Its a magazine style website that reviews, as you would expect from the title, historical novels.

Note: I am pretty sure this is an anual subscription type thing (for full access); however, some of the novels listed do have online reviews - eg: "The Rose of York - Crown of Destiny" - about King Richard III.

Using the "Editor's Choice" link you get a full list of reviews.

It also has "Forthcoming Titles" like this little snippet for 2008:
"Jorge Molitz, The Ring, Atria (one modern woman's romantic transformation, set against the fall of the Knights Templar)"

Interesting website all the same - at least it will give those interested an idea of what authors are about that write historical fiction.
